HIGH ENOLOGICAL VALUE

LOCATION

A valley between mountains, bounded by the Andes in the west and by the Andean foothills in the east.

EXCELLENT SOIL, CLIMATE
AND WATER CONDITIONS

A wide temperature range, low rainfall, high sun exposure,
meltwater and a combined soil
with unique tipicity.

PRECISION VITICULTURE
SYSTEM

Optimization of the vines production by applying the technique that best adapts to the type of soil in order to achieve the best quality grape.

VINES SELECTION

Massal and Clonal selection, prioritizing enological quality and productivity.

MICRO-TERROIRS

Design and subdivision of the
estate according to soil type.

TRELLIS SYSTEM AND DRIP IRRIGATION

The unique characteristics of the terroir create a product with a quality that exceeds international parameters. This is due to the valley location (at an average height of 1200 meters above sea level) the semi-arid climate (330 days of sun), wide temperature range and the alluvial soil with excellent drainage.
In addition, the estate has the largest and purest aquifer in the region and meltwater from the mountain range is used to irrigate the soil. Drip irrigation is a key element to obtain high quality products. The amount of water depends on the soil structure. The more stones there are, the easier water drains, therefore,
irrigation is more frequent.

On the contrary, if there are less stones, there will be more water retention and irrigation will be less frequent. This terroir has unique conditions for the production of colorful grapes, with strong tannins. Due to its location (at a height between 1200 and 1400 meters above sea level) and the mineral component of the soil, its grapes are some of the most wanted in the region. The wide temperature range, with hot days and cold nights, provides the perfect balance so that our grapes can achieve their highest potential.
